REQUIREMENTS :

1. Phosphate Buffer : 100 mmol/L. pH 7.0.

2. Colour Reagent : 4 amino phenazone 16 mg, GOD 1800 units, POD 100 units, Phenol 105 mg, Tween 20 : 50pl in 100 ml phosphate buffer (1).

3. Working glucose standard 100 mg/dl in saturated benzoic acid.

PROCEDURE :
METHOD A : Using a Single-Point 3-Tube Method :
1. Mix the reagents as listed in the dilution.

2. Mix weli and incubate at 37°C for 10 minutes.
3. Mix well and read the absorbance at 505 nm against D/W as the blank. The final colour is stable for one hour.
